Slow Day-maker

After hearing about the recent wahoo bite, decided to give it a try on Sunday 11/21. Headed out towards the SWB in search of Mr. Wahoo. After trying to dodge some rain, we decided to run straight through it got lines in at 0730. Trolled outside the ledge all day with one or two knock downs and one bonita. Called it day and had all lines in but one, when the TLD 50 started singing that beautiful sound we all have come to love. After a brief 20 minute fight gaffed a decent wahoo and stuck him in the box. Stuck around for another hour and few more knock downs and hooked up with a slinger dolphin that spit the hook. Bite came inside the ledge at about 140’, water temperature around 76. All in all, a slow day on a nice flat ocean.
