The bite was excellent today. We had the most success slowing everything down and dragging the Zman Trout Trick, texas rigged with a flipping hook and bullet weight, across the bottome of deeper holes on the flats, creeks and around oysters with deeper holes. Great day on the water! Tight lines!

Fished that same thing with out a nible a few weeks ago. Thought it was because of the hook presentation… I know that color is the Cajun boys favorite so I figured similar water and fish. My first experience with elastic trout tricks and I’m still on the fence on how I feel on elastec. I even fished the same tactics. SMH

Is that bullet weight held in place by anything? Thanks
aplato the line runs through the bullet weight and then tied to the hook. The weight can move freely up and down the line but when the lure is being retrieved (or trolled) naturally the weight will slide down the line and remain against the eye of the hook making it pretty weedless and snagless…
