Me and a buddy went to b/bay yesterday. started casting around 10am. the shrimp never got on the poles. moved once and it was a little better but not much. barely covered the bottom of cooler. nobody that we talked to were doing much either. also; kind of surprised at the size. mostly mediums. ended up buying 50# 16-20 from carolina seafood. no need driving over three hundred miles round trip and not coming back with shrimp. all headed and in the freezer. still was a great day on the water overall.
Breeze, we went near White Banks. Caught 11 shrimp and one fish, broke one pole, my son went in with the net, and we left. We had a good time but didn’t do as well as we would have liked. How much were the shrimp at Carolina?
water clear everywhere?
quote:Bobby, how much were those 16-20 count? I'm with you on the long drive and not coming back with shrimp.

RIP my “Puppy Dog” 10/15/2004 - 1/14/2013. Still can’t get him out of my mind. What a special friend he was.
We were out there. Very slow shrimp just weren’t there. Size was not great for us also. Water was muddy and we did 3/4 same spot both days last weekend. Wednesday was a 1/4 cooler… thank you for the post
the 16-20 ct shrimp at carolina seafood were $4 lb. heads on. 21=25 were 8.50 headed.
Hmmm, I guess you forgot to call me?
