Slow start on the new season...

Although a few full coolers are being talked about it apppears most folks are having a slow start. We tried several spots in BB this morning and brought home a shrimp dinner…for one. Water appears to be to clear right now for daytime shrimping. With such a mild winter we had this past year, numbers should be good this season. Saw a lot of porpoise today so I hope that’s not a bad sign. Anyway, still a nice day on the water.

I have gone out the past two mornings and have found shrimp. You have to find the group of boats and muddy water when the tide is moving. We have been about 3-6 feet of water and find them. But they cut on and off like a light switch. We have 20lbs with heads off out of the 2 days.

Wishin I was fishin.
