We fished from 8am till 2pm yesterday. Put in at Riverbend & pulled gizzards from there up to Big Mans & into Spring Creek. Only 2 fish all day. The first one hit within 15 min. or so. A nice 9 1/2 lbs. This one hit right at the side of the boat, with the bait barely dangling in the water. We were un-snagging the port side boards from a submerged tree. WE had reeled in the other rods while we were stopped. It surprised the heck out of us.
The second one, a little guy, came about noon, close to the fork. These were the only hits of the day.
Bob, you retired yet?
-The size of a fish is directly proportional to the time between when it’s lost and the story is told. - Me
-What’s the best eating fish, you ask? I’ve found that for a lot people, its the ones that they happen to be able to catch, clean, and cook. - My Dad (1/13/37 - 9/27/16 I love you Pops)
-Until you have loved a dog, part of your soul remains unawakened. Anatole France (paraphrased)
-RIP my “Puppy Dog” 10/15/2004 - 1/14/2013. I’ll never forget him. What a special friend he was.

I wish! I’m going to wait till I’m 66 to start collecting Social Security, then work a year or so to sock that money away. But as with anything else, things are subject to change. Definitely going to wait til after 66.

Most of the fish were caught around Rocky Creek on Saturday. Our 9# fish came between Hawleek and Spinners 25’ Deep.
