Headed out to the 300 line in a very calm ocean. Started in 50 fathoms as a sudden temp break never happened. Water just continually increased all the way out to 800 feet but lacked weed or an edge. We trolled north on the 100 fathoms with several nice rips but no fish in numbers. Ended day with 5 fish and a glassy ocean. Hit ledge for some bsb action then very calm ride home Most boats on radio seemed to be slow. Did hear couple folks who found some schools of fish so there is still hope. Better than working and the ladies got to do all the reeling so still a check in the box for fun.
