Pushed out at 0500 from Ripley’s towards the 380 and all was smooth until a mile or so past the jetties… rough ride out to 150’ and got worse as we trolled for ‘Hoos to 300’… one strike. Put out a mahi spread at 180 back to 140 and had one short-strike. 300’ temp was 72, but very rough ride. As we got back, the air temp jumped 15 degrees as we passed Ft Sumpter and the harbor was smooth… weird.
