Fished a couple hours of the incoming today. 1 flounder…slow but beautiful day on the water.
I have had many days like that but despite that, have never felt like it was time wasted. I haven’t been on the water since January and it is killing me.
Tried Bushy Park at daybreak today… tide was falling slick calm with no other boats.
BUT
Only thing biting were the clouds of no-see-ums.
Amen to that dfreedom! We didn’t catch much of anything…but explored some new creeks…and got to get a good look at others n the more than dead low tide yesterday to give us a idea of what’s what in them, hung out n wolf island for a little while,let Roo run on the redneck sandbar…and saw lots of other cool things…one creek was loaded with turtles…every bank we saw had a family on it. Saw a huge gar fish…but I couldn’t get him to bite…Donnie was happy about that…lol…gnats were bad for a little while…but not unbearable…
