I procured and rebuilt a 1976 13 ft Malibu a couple years back while I was at The Citadel and really enjoyed the project (http://old.charlestonfishing.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=96686). I enjoyed it so much that I decided to build another boat, the Creek Rat (http://old.charlestonfishing.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=123418&) and now I have two little boats but only need one. I’d like to find a deserving kid who could put the Rapchizzle to use and get her bloody instead of rotting in my yard. If I were going to keep and use it, there are a few small cracks I’d epoxy and I’d repaint it. Other than that, she’s in pretty good shape and ready for a few more years of use.
If you know of some kid who’d get some use out of her, I’ll let the hull go for about $250 which is 1/3 of what I spent to rebuild it. I’d much rather some kid get their first boat and enjoy scooting around the creeks as I have with it. It’d be a great first boat for someone to learn how to drive, the rules of the road, and ownership of something bigger than a bicycle. I’m looking for a kid who’d take care of her and treat her with respect, not tear it up and sink it like a free boat.
It’s got a clean title and no trailer or motor. I have a trailer I could use to transport if need be.
