small engine help

guys, i bought a moped the other day and have been trying to get it running. i was cleaning the carb on it when i think a small BB like thing fell out but im not sure, all i know is that it was on the towel when i was done vs not being there when i started. anyway now i cant get the engine to crank at all. it sounds like it wants to turn over but cant. has anyone else seen one of these BB things and if so where did it come from. any other ideas as to why it wont crank? thanks

That little bb had a spring that held it in place.

yeah i said … it and took it to the shop. oh well i would rather pay someone to fix it right than screw it up anymore
