Smart advice

Never leave your boat and gear unattended while shopping at any store. It is very easy for people to pull up and take your gear and haul ass with it.K Mart was good for that.

That sucks. One of my brothers and a few friends went in a restaurant like that and had the boat cleaned out when they got back. I can’t understand how people can be that way.

(**(). I hate it for you. I’m kinda paranoid about leaving my boat unattended. I have a cable lock to lock my push pole to the bow cleat and a lock on the quick release for the trolling motor. I try to park where I can see my rig from the window but do feel uneasy just bc it’s so easy to steal.

I came out of Hardees in Georgetown last summer and someone was taking my rods out of the boat. Once we started chasing him on foot, he dropped the rods in the middle of Hwy 17 and took off.

I was lucky we didn’t have to wait any longer on that chicken biscuit or they would have been gone!!

“Oh, de flounder he looks so fine, hanging onto my little thin line…”

Driving to the Keys, any stop we make I have one of the boys stay with the boat. There are way too many turds out there that will steal anything not bolted down anymore. It is a real shame, maybe we should start chopping off the hands of theives.

Thats true Larry but it is legal in some states:smiley:

What sucks more than that is someone probley seen the whole thing go down, got in their car and just left.

Nowadays there aren’t many things that go down that aren’t recorded on somebody’s camera. Ask K-Mart if they will review their security tapes.
