This is one I found on Sullivan’s island a few weeks ago.
I showed her the pic above and she said “yep that was it” but it was in the frothy remnants of a wave the washed back down the slope of the beach, so we sand. Who knows what is was!
I was rooting around in a flower bed yesterday at the house and stirred one up with my hand and it wiggled under a bush. I smiled and left it alone…hope it eats a lot of bugs and grubs.
