Fished w/ PJ and did good on the red snappa and the cobia. NOAA missed it again and the light and variable from last night turned into Southerly @ 15 knots with 2-3’ slop. Been trying to tear up the bottom in 100’+, but can’t pick the right day! Managed 4 just legal reds and numerous others, a cuda, a keeper cobia, and a bunch of just shy cobia. Good to see the pogies off the beach again and they have grown(nice slobs). Should be making for a good king bite.
Josh- My $ is on you tomorrow. Don’t let me down!

The cobia were on squid and cigars. They were smallish so pogies weren’t as effective. There was a third guy on the boat so four fish happened quick. Four of five drifts w/a fish each, a bit of culling and four in the box. They were tailpinchers as I said earlier, perfect for the table but no record breakers by far.
PS- This is not known as a snapper spot. Just happened to be where we were.
