snapper season

Would it be fair to say that the snapper dates have made some of us take chances that we usually don’t? Just curious.

nope

Disagree so far…typical summer fishing…

I disagree, we turned around on Saturday and put it back on the dock

“Back home we got a taxidermy man. He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him”

We also turned around… not worth it

It seems that there would be a better way to provide SC anglers a safer way to take advantage of the limited opportunity when it comes to snapper…If the weather
sucks we lose. Sat we put it back on the trailer and Sun the story was the same…

We had 6 on the boat, we all agreed to turn around…safety first

You need radar,we fished both days…i have been in much worse conditions…

We were out there Sunday and despite the wet ride out it was gorgeous flat conditions.

Safety first. Events from this past week should make that even more of a point than it already was.
One fish can’t be worth taking a chance.
You think the SAFMC had this in mind when they set all this up?
You better believe it…This is exactly what they had in mind. Next thing you know, they will be laying out the campaign to allow you more access on any day you chose. It’s coming.
Congrats to those that made it out and caught some fish. We’ve witnessed some studs being caught this year.

The campaign is for catch shares. The ones that the Florida guys will get the Lionshare of and want to cash them in, in our back yard.
