Headed out Saturday, with my brothe, for some grouper in 90 ft. Ended up catching 6 red snappers. 10 broken lines. 15 vermillion. We used cigar minnows and squid. The snappers tend to prefer cigars. All fish were relieved of air and thrown back. Was a little rougher than the prediction from sailflow. 5 to 6 foot seas at times. Headed home early to eat left overs and hang with the family. It was a great day.

Another endangered species. Don’t think SAFMC will ever get it strait. Maybe if some of them actually fished they would see their folly.

I had the privilege of fishing with “Black Angus” / Quincy and Paul Godbout Saturday also… we did about the same: some Red Snappers, Groupers, Vermillions B-liners Black Sea Bass and our favorite: sharks (not). The ARS I caught: cigar minnow. Man was it sloppy out there! Post coming… thanks for sharing!
