Was walking out from the deer stand in the evening back during the season, and a dang snipe flew up right from under my feet…they will almost make your heart stop when they do that :smiley:. Chootem.

You sure they weren’t woodcock? Snipe typically don’t hold long enough to get up under you feet.

It might have been. It was pretty well dark, and a dang fast bird flew up literally from under my feet…made me cuss out loud…HA,HA. If is was a woodcock, chootem too.:smiley:
