I sleep right through it usually.

Mo does it, and I just sleep on the couch and shut up, I don’t love her for the snoring, or lack of snoring. When it wakes me up I go to another room, and still kiss her “good morning”
Is it waking you up?
My mom made my dad sleep in his recliner for a few years until he got a sleep apnea study done. Now he wears a mask, doesn’t snore, and sleeps much better.
Snoring can be a symptom of sleep apnea. You might want to look into that.

Wife does it, I sleep in the spare bedroom. I can’t sleep at night unless it is dead quiet and dark.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

uh oh
Get a sleep study…and see a ENT. They will be able to tell you what’s causing it. Sometimes it’s positioning of your head neck and throat…the way you sleep…sometimes it can be a sinus issue. (Ex. Deviated septum) or you may have nodules in your nose/ throat. Many times people who are heavier…but this in No way includes you cause we all know you’re not heavy…snore Donnie had nodules in his throat…a deviated septum from having his nose broken in karate once…it was a accident in sparring…I did not do it ;)… As well as when he would sleep his tongue was dropping back into his throat when he was relaxed…blocking part of the airway. He would wake p at times not able to breathe because of it. He did the sleep study…then tried the bipap…no go…would wake up clawing that thing off his face…so had the surgery where they take out tonsils and the works and did injections in his soft pallet. Not a snore now!
He went to charleston ENT… That was 7 years ago.
Tell mrs bonzo a pillow over the face works too as long as she doesn’t get caught.
Directions;
Gently place pillow and have Willie the cat lay on top of it hehehe

holy ****, that’s it Hoof…now, how do I get rid of the *****?
The Morris Island Lighthouse www.savethelight.org
I don’t know. I’ve had that syndrome since I was a kid. It used to be scary as ****, but now I just calm myself down and wait for it to be over. I’ve never seen a ghost or anything, I just wake up from a dream and can’t move. It happens once or twice a year to me.
I did have a really crazy hallucination experience with that years ago. I’ll tell you about it over a couple beers some time.

get to sleep before the snorer does…
“The good fisherman is surprised when he doesn’t catch fish: I am just the other way around.”
Gene Hill, Passing a Good Time.
The book, Blue Roots: African American Folk Magic Of The Gullah People by Roger Pinckney, documents (p.78) a reported Slip Skin Hag in Charleston, SC, in 1916:
“Neighbors suspected a certain woman of going out after dark and tormenting a former lover who had found a new partner. They found the skin hanging behind the woman’s bedroom door, salted it thoroughly, and waited anxiously in the closet. The woman came in at dawn, commanded the skin back into it’s rightful place. The skin, in salty misery, did not respond. “Skin, skin, don’t you know me?”, the woman pleaded. The neighbors leaped from the closet and the hag disappeared into thin air, never to return.”
Creeeeeeeeeepy.

Nasal strips work for me. My wife wakes herself up and then accuses me of waking her up. So I apply a nasal strip before I go to bed. Now when she wakes herself up and then turns to poke me, I point to my nose and say “It ain’t me”. I am sleeping much better these days.
Y’all believe that, right?
j
PS The nasal strips do work pretty good.
I’m having the sleep study done on Sunday. I’ve been snoring for years but as I’ve gotten a little older (53) and added about 15 lbs it’s gotten much worse. Don’t recall ever having bizarre dreams or waking up unable to move but it was a question on the sleep study questionaire that I thought kind of odd. The Warden has said my apnea episodes have gotten much worse and last longer. She already sleeps with earplugs but says if I don’t get this fixed I’ll either die from a heart attack or she’s gonna smother me with a pillow! I don’t see what the fuss is all about, it’s never bothered me.
Just went on machine at 52. Life changer for everyone. Dont play with this.
