So close

First fish of the day, around 8:20, was a white marlin. Released at around 8:35. First marlin for the angler. Next fish was a 10-12 pound dolphin, not much of anything. Next bite was a very nice blue marlin. After a 40 minute fight, released. Caught a couple more dolphin, and a cuda, but we were all hoping for the sail…it came, and we could not hook it up. Came close, but no slam. Trying to download the pics right now. I will post them when the download is done.

Had a fantastic time, did not even go weigh in the dolphin, largest may have been 18-20.

It was very slow, a couple of boats did not catch anything.

We will take the two marlin, and be happy…great day on the ocean.

A white and a blue–very nice; you’re making it hard for me to wait to get back out.

Great job NG, you might be the good luck charm, your first time out this year. Largest dolphin I saw weighed was 31lb our biggest was 26.9. See you on Tues night.

Thanks, all, DOD, tried calling you a couple of times, but no response, good luck with your dolphin in the tourney.

We had a blast out there…we were supposed to pick up at 2, an hour before lines in, but R kept on fishing, hoping for the sail. Had a shot at around 2:30.

All tired, but happy.

Congratulations. What a day.
