So....I went fishing!

Talk about being lucky. I sent an email to fellow fishing club member, Kevin Blair, owner of fishing guide of Charleston Rod Bending Company and just sorta joked I’d love to take him up his offer to take me along on one of his scouting trips. I mean, come on…get to go with a guide on a scouting trip? To my surprise, he emailed me back and said he and his wife were going to go fishing on Wednesday and said I could tag along.

Giddity!

Here’s the video I shot for Kevin…

That red was 40+ inches and we think it was 25lb on the boga landed with 15lb braid. I was whipped.

And a little shout out to my boy! http://www.charlestonfishrodbendingcompany.com/

Congrats looks like a great day

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

I think the only time I ever caught more salt water fish was when I was on the old Thunderstar! Lots of fun and I didn’t have to clean my boat!!!
