so-so on the Stono 11/3

Hit the water later than normal with plans to fish a couple of hours until high tide.

I started working docks and it didn’t take long to find reds, but most were rats to barely legal.

Moved down a few docks and kept finding small reds. Lost one short flounder at the side of the yak.

Last spot I flipped the popping cork up against a piling and it instantly disappears. The drag starts screaming and there’s nothing I can do to turn this fish. Locked down drag on the Okuma Trio 30 is 22 pounds of drag force and it didn’t slow him down one bit. He ran under the dock, through the gap, and under the next dock.

Wow, wouldn’t you liked to have at least seen that minster! Must have been a beast to get away with that much drag.
