So, was that a tailing tide yesterday morning?

Without looking at the charts and going just based on what I saw in the marshes, etc, would that have been a good tide (assuming other conditions were good-water temp, etc) to get into the grass yesterday to look for some tailing redfish?

Yes, based on the past few days where I have seen the water at high tide, fish would of been in the grass assuming other conditions were good

Ok… By definition a “Tailing Tide” is one in which redfish (or any fish in you respective area) are actively “Tailing”…

In febuary… there are very few… if any “Tailing Tides”… it happens ocasionally i guess… but people get hit by lightning every once in a while too…

Was it a high tide? Yes…
Was it a tailing tide? NO…

“Tailing tides” will be along shortly boys… don’t worry…

Ok, I should have qualified it by saying something to the effect of “where this to be late March-late May, and you had that sort of tide, would you expect to finds reds tailing in the grass”? Which I’m now guessing the answer to be ‘yes’.

I’m looking forward to those days getting here and hopefully hooking with a few FF here to find some tailing fish.
