I’m not a class fan, but that was men against boys.

Looked for you fritz…couldn’t find you though.

Question is, Is 49 enough?

And that’s how it’s done

I just call it the house that Clowney owns.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

Who was that poor fellow wearing Clowney’s jersey last night?

A young kid that I've watched get burned all season long, he doesn't like to tackle either and I'm surprised they stuck with him.

Have you come up with some evidence to refute my claim, or are you just going to keep spouting off at the mouth?

Tell me what your claim is again? If you are claiming that Clowney was the only player the gamecocks had on defense then I guess I can mention some of the other names on the team.

I found this with a quick search for you.

Clowney had 1½ sacks in the opening half, and then added three more in the final two quarters to best the team’s single-season mark of 10 shared by Andrew Provence (1982) and Melvin Ingram (2011).

It was the Gamecocks’ defense that shook up Clemson’s usually fast-paced attack. Boyd was pressured much of the period and was just 8 of 17 for 131 yards and an interception while trying to score before the half.

Boyd was hit on the throw, the ball floating into the middle of the field and DeVonte Holloman diving backward for the grab. It was Holloman’s third career interception in four games against Clemson

My claim was that the main reason Clowney was the sack leader in DV was that he was the only one on the team that could get to the qb on that team. Clemson usually has multiple guys with sacks every game. They had 5 or more sacks against multiple opponents this year, but it wasn’t just one guy doing it all.

Clowney is a super-human beast. I’ve been following him since the 8th grade and graduated with his mother. I wish him all the best as he is a special athlete that only comes along once in a generation.

Kelcy Quarles, Devon Taylor, Jungle Boi, Holloman, Dixon....The 2012 defense was one of the top 20 defenses in the country, doubtful that Clowney was the only reason for that.

The only reason Clowney was so productive at usc was Devin Taylor on the other side. At least a very big reason

That certainly did not hurt, but let’s be honest the guy was a dominate force in college football. If you ever watched any of his high school film, it was ridiculous how good he was and while he is not killing it with sacks in the NFL this year he is in the top 5 for tackles for a loss and if you listen to the opposing coaches he is a nightmare to game plan for.

How did he do in college after Devin left?

Well enough to be selected 1st overall in the NFL draft as a Junior. Yes he only had three sacks and had some injury issues where he missed games and was not healthy most of the year. All I will say is guys that know a lot more about football than you and I would not have let him slip out of the top 5 in the draft. I think you are letting what he did to your team while he was there cloud your judgment on this one, which is natural.
