OK - I’m still boating old school. Someone educate me a little please. What’s the use of the blue backward facing under water lights? Do the attract fish after dark? Or, are the just ‘cool?’

Old School reminds me of night fishing with my father (freshwater). He would hang a lantern over the side of the boat. The shad were drawn to the light. Where there are shad there are crappie, and I am sure many other species.
