Left at 8am and headed to Edisto. All of a sudden the clouds rolled in and we were in a massive rain storm.I had to pull between docks and anchor. It cleared off and again we headed to edisto. At Church creek here comes another rain cloud. We anchored and about 30 min later it cleared up.I decided to stay home and fish the metal trades spot.Sun came out and dried us off.Water temp was 83 clear to 1 foot.We set out 2 crab chunk lines and i popped the doa.Had 2 hits on the doa and no takers.two cut off’s on the crab.I figured sharks.Looked up and saw more clouds so we called it a day.Pulled up on the lift covered the boat and made it back to the house as the sky opened up again.Looking out the window as i type the blue sky is back.I watched on my phone the whole time and saw lots of breaks in the clouds. No boomers so that was ok.Better luck next time.
Sounds like the weather and fishing continues to correlate. Both sucks lately!
At least you got out and gave it a shot. I haven’t had my boat on the water in 2 months. I’m having withdrawals.

Same thing here. But in a kayak. Not a single bite in the flats north of the Folly ramp. And a wet ride back. But, the sun came out as soon as we made it back to the ramp.
