Went to a local seafood restaurant tonight and had the worst fried soft shell crab ever. They didn’t bother to open up and clean out the crab. Needless to say that was the nastiest tasting thing I have ever tasted. No names but it was a small place on Folly Road.

I believe any soft crabs around now are coming out of NC or VA. Curious, how much were they charging for a fried crab this late in the season?

The crab dinner was 14.99. That was 2 crabs and 1 side. I got the any 2 for 14.99 and had crab and oysters with fries.

That’s a deal, they are 4.75 each right now. Add the sides and this guy is losing money.
Wonder if they were frozen which are cheaper to justify that low price .
Ive recently had the worst meal as well on Folly, worst"mahi" hoagie something sandwich I have ever bit into. Took one bite and left the rest alone. Pretty sad when you have to tell tourists to go eat downtown. Only one decent place to eat on Folly. When is someone going to open some more decent tasting places down there.?
