I am going camping on the stono in a couple of weeks, and wondering if it’s safe to leave my car at the Sol Legare boat landing in James Island over night.

I agree…sometimes it’s not even a good time to leave it there during the day.

it will be safe at the folly landing. stop by the police station and leave them a note with your info and truck info. they’ll keep an eye on it and it won’t get towed.

Is Folly landing to far? How about Bowens restaurant… they might let you leave it there?

your car will be fine in the piggly wiggly parking lot if you can drop the yak off and somehow get back down to the landing. Bike maybe?

If you’re camping on the islands around Green Creek side, park/launch at Bowen’s and paddle down King’s Flats to Stono- it’s a nice paddle anyways and a decent shortcut by yak.
