Sold the boat and don’t need the anti pirate weaponry that the wife felt better about having onboard during Bahamas crossings. Perhaps someone else can put it to use. Stainless Ruger Mini 14 in .223 caliber with Stainless 5 x 9 ProHunter scope, 2-40 round clips and a nice black soft case.
Do I hear offers?
You are about 30 years too late for that DF Not posting pictures of that [:0] I wouldn’t pick a 5.56 as my main line of defense either. I want something that will penetrate a hull and destroy the engine block. But it’s a perfect rifle for my wife to manage. Good second line of defense anyway. Ruger makes dang good firearms.
If I hadn’t just bought an evil black rifle last week, I would have started a bidding war with you on the Ruger. And if you got it for what your bid was, that was an awesome deal!

I have a buddy with a Barrett if that is what you mean?
Been looking at the Ruger AR 556 as well as a couple other Ar rifles. My wife thinks we need one. Too funny.
“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?
Lots of good deals going on now. I’m not allowed to advertise (post was deleted), give me a shout I’ll find you what you need for the cheapest you can find…I look out for first responders and military.

Yes I did, and yes it was a heck of a good deal:smiley: Glad I saw it and jumped quick.
Finally got my hands on it after waiting a few days for it to go through the FFL process. I’ve got a GA weapons permit and it’s ridiculous that I can hit SC with a long rock or with any rifle. Yet if I drive across the bridge, I can’t legally buy a rifle without going through a GA FFL dealer. But it is what it is, and nobody wants a federal weapons trafficking charge against them. OK for Obama to do it, but not us peons. Go figure.
Back to the rifle, I feel like I stole it[:I] The dang thing is like brand new, doesn’t even have a scratch on it and looks like it’s never been shot. It’s beautiful
If this man puts up anything else for sale, trust him, it is what he says it is and he’s a man of his word.
$650 out the door. I figured I could either pay taxes or a transfer fee to a FFL. Would have been just a little bit cheaper going through the FFL (between $15 and $40) but I got to hold onto and check out the rifle I was buying. I have purchased guns online before that didn’t stack up to what I held at gun shows or gun shops. Anyway. I thought it was worth the few extra $$.

Mine charges $25 for the transfer fee.
My son and I ran a few hundred rounds through it yesterday afternoon. Started at 50 yards with a 3/4 silhouette plate. No problem. Switched to 6" steel plates, no problem. Switched to 4" plates. no problem. Backed off to 100 yards and did it all again. Neither of us missed a 4" plate at 100 yards This rifle is a sweet shooter, considering I never even made a scope adjustment Very happy! Wishing we hadn’t run out of ammo. got 1,000 more on the way though.

Oh I get it, but when possible, I try and give business to local peeps. F&S doesn’t give money back into our local economy…
