SOLD I got this rod brand new Christmas of 2013. I used it once on Folly pier for a king mackerel tournament, which wasn’t really my thing. This rod is designed for mackerel fishing because the tip is soft so its gentle on live bait. The design is perfect for slow trolling, but can also be used at the pier or even kayaking beyond the breakers. I took a cobia charter this past spring and the guide used these rods with TLD 20s. This model is rated for 20 - 40lb line.
