Rod has a solid tip guide (I replaced the original tip guide) so that braid-mono or braid-fluoro connections won’t be breaking the tip guide’s inner ring loose over time. I’ve done this with all my Trevala rods. This rod has a lifetime warranty with Shimano.The rod and reel are in 9.5 out of 10 cosmetic condition.
Downsizing tackle a little, and this color’s an odd one in my bunch.
