I don’t think anyone will pay full price from a person when they can pay the same price from a dealer and get full support and a relationship with the dealer. years ago i bought a dune buggy from a guy who won one in a raffle. he was smart. he calculated how much tax he would owe on it, then added 500 bucks for his “winning”. to me that was a fair approach. he covered his tax, then “won” 500 bucks.

Seriously though while you may think your Buggy Buddy was “smart”, I would see him as impatient. I’m not in any kind of jamb… I set a price at $2100 which is $200 off the retail price and no taxes another $200. I think Time Out in Mt P is doing10% off on Hobies this weekend and Dolphin and the guys over there are great I’m not sure what they have instock but go get ya one - I wouldn’t buy another yak from anyone else. Hopefully I’ll see you on the water…in a new Outback!
