1998 25HP 3 Cylinder Yamaha Short Shaft, runs perfect. Engine has a brand new water pump and fires right up. I purchased this motor a while back in Florida in hopes of finding a jon boat to put this motor on but my needs have changed. I have not titled this engine but do have bill of sale from previous purchase, engines are not required to be titled in Florida. Bill of Sale can be used to apply for title in SC. Engine needs two minor things: Needs shaft seals replaced, which I have purchased, just have not had time to install them. This causes some lower unit oil to leak out of the engine when put in the horizontal position. Also needs new push button kill switch, right now you have to pull safety pin to shut off engine. This is a $30 part, again just have not had time to replace.
