Am I detecting a trend here? Several folks lately getting out of the off shore fishing crowd. Weather has been awful for the past two years. Good deal on the bean bags.

I think it comes and goes. I had an offshore boat for 11 years, just got tired of doing 80% of the work and then begging people to go all the time only to have them cancel last minute. My inshore boat, I can fish by myself all the time if I want. I don’t have to depend on others to make my trips successful like offshore. There’s pros and cons to both. I still get offshore 6-7 times a year, that’s plenty for me.

Hopefully not getting completely out of the offshore thing still plan to fish with some buddies couple times of year. Just think a bay boat will better suit us and we will get more use out of it.
