I went out about a week and a half ago at 7am to fish the high tide. I was standing in the flat wondering why the water was so low. I pulled out my phone and checked the tide. I had read the app wrong and the floodtide was at night not in the morning. I tried to make due with what I had. Knowing I had to be somewhere at 8:30, my time was ticking. I spotted a tiny bit of a tail about 15 yards away from me. I walked closer and the fish got deeper in the grass. Luckily it decided to stay in one spot and do a head stand. I tossed the spoon fly about a foot and a half from the tail and then it was on.
