Some clarification and input.

Was at a party this weekend and met a guy that dives somewhere around Morgan Island for shark teeth and the like. He said that shrimp and trout were thick dead on the bottom.

I don’t know the guy but he did show some of the teeth he’s found, no reason to doubt him, he seemed legit. Anyone else heard anything like this? He thought maybe the long cold snap through December. Not trying to start a doom and gloom topic, just curious if old boy was pulling my leg.

I heard something similar from Bob Sanders, maybe the same source? He mentioned it was someone that was a diver.

I had just read thru Capt. Bob Sanders post on water temp. Its been consistantly cold, probably is true. Chef parrothead had mentioned seeing fish floating a few weeks ago.

Last Thurs in the St Helena sound I had a steady 43F water temp. By Saturday it was up to about 47F
