Hey easy. That’s a spiny puffer. 8 foot hammerhead was trying to figure out how to eat it. Ran across the scene about 20 miles off. We first thought it was a crab float until we got close and saw the shark.

Man that is wild! Never would have figured a puffer! Just goes to show you, that nature knows what it’s doing:smiley: Great defense!
We watched about 5 minutes. The puffer never deflated and the shark never left. One of the guys got video.
