My buddy and I caught a dozenish slotty size reds and a couple keeper trout yesterday. I caught more than him. He was using a trout trick with a chartreuse tail and a sporty-orty jig head. I used my standard pink grub with a standard grey jighead. Some of the bites were aggressive, and some were super light. We both missed a number of very light bites. Also, we both caught a couple by letting the grubs just sit. They would smack it when it was just sitting on the bottom.
I don’t know what the water temp was because I don’t care what it is.
