ugh, i’ve had people bring bananas on my boat twice. first time, the person ate the banana, and we didn’t have a bite the whole day (first time that’s ever happened on my boat). second time, I made them throw it overboard, and we got our first fish about 15 minutes later (we had been fishing for 2 hours without a bit). i’m not superstitious, but never again. that may be the only thing i’m superstitious about… bananas on boats. and i love bananas too. i have about a dozen banana trees.
