Stretch - Montague rods 1900-1955 - most widely produced bamboo rods. You see a lot of them on the market today because they are very durable. Base value on the 9’ rods today are about $125. Price is generally higher on the 8’ and 8.5’ models. Hope that helps.

so I did good getting one for 30 bucks of a bum on dorch road…very nice.
thanks!

You paid about $30 too much for that piece. You should have given him $30 worth of food, he’ll just booze it up; you know it.

It wasn’t in an orange cardboard blueprint tube was it?
I have 2 fly rods MIA from my garage. Bamboo is gone and my 6’6" custom built 3wt. It’s a signed Richard Bennett rod IM-6 graphite w/ titanium snake guides in a silk sleeve and aluminum rod tube.

If anyone sees either one let me know please.
