Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
Just to make him feel better, you could have told him it’s always a good Idea to trim your motor up before launching.
From the looks of the pic, I’d be more worried over the skeg than the gell coat. Looks like that’s what stopped it from going further.
