So I have had a jon yacht with a 25hp tiller handle motor on it for around a decade. I loved the boat but I have really outgrown it and needed something a little bigger to fill the creek boat void. I have the center console and my dad has a flats boat i use but I needed to fill the creek boat void. I found a little boat that a guy wanted to sell CHEAP:smiley:
but the catch was he wired up a fish finder wrong and the console caught fire and burned out. My wife was under strick protest that I not spend any money since I have a baby boy on the way in February. So my dad happened to have a wiring harness for the motor and some fiberglass laying around. He had a GPS and a compass. I had to put a new bilge pump in the boat and rebuild the tilt and trim motor as well as build a new consol and rewire the whole boat. It was great to spend some time with my dad and work on something together. I know its just a little boat but it has ended up being something more than that to me…
