I thinking about using something different this year. Wondering if anyone wants to share their bait recipe. Even if it’s fish meal and clay, the ratios would be helpful.
1/4 fish meal 3/4 dry clay & about 2 cups of plain flour. Mix it well with a paint mixer on a 1/2" drill then mix in water until its about like thick cookie dough. Make burger size patties - not balls and spread them out to dry on the bow while your riding . The flour makes them tough!
Never tried this but watched a YouTube video last week. The guy used fish meal, clay, cat food and rock salt of all things. Anyone ever hear of using rock salt?

I heard if you add old bay to the bait balls it gives the shrimp added flavor.
