They’re going to be there awhile about 2 hours before low tide. Riding on the bow in 2 footers?
Hope DNR or the coasties on patrol don’t see the bow rider , even worse getting thrown off and run over ; prop cuts ain’t pretty…

Sometimes, unfortunately, life’s lessons have to be learned the hard way.
-The size of a fish is directly proportional to the time between when it’s lost and the story is told. - Me
-What’s the best eating fish, you ask? I’ve found that for a lot people, its the ones that they happen to be able to catch, clean, and cook. - My Dad (1/13/37 - 9/27/16 I love you Pops)
-Until you have loved a dog, part of your soul remains unawakened. Anatole France (paraphrased)
-RIP my “Puppy Dog” 10/15/2004 - 1/14/2013. I’ll never forget him. What a special friend he was.

Yeti straps on a coleman? What!
Pic 1: someones quickie ran long
Pic 2: Dont be jealous because this cool guys got bigger cojones
All jokes aside i was trolling on lake marion going less than 3 miles an hr and the dnr stops to give me a ticket because i was sitting on the bow with feet in the water. It was flat calm like a mirror with no wind and no one was around. He said he would down grade it to a life jacket violation so it would be a lesser ticket. $110 and i could probably swim faster then we were going. The ticket went to the boat owner so not on my record and we split the cost 3 ways so it was like 37 bucks for my share.
The first pic… see that all too often and mostly done on purpose. I dare say on a busy weekend you’ll see a dozen or more boats on otter island dry docked like that. I’m too scared/paranoid something could happen and I’d be stuck to do it.
The second pic… Just plain stupid. Probably a new to the water guy thinking he is being cool having no clue just how easy it would be to be chunked out the boat and chopped up by the prop. That’s the kind of pic that makes you think a boater safety course should be required to drive a boat. BUt in this case, it probably wouldn’t have mattered.
The guy in the second pic might loose his friend to a prop death but he’ll be realllll sure to have the boat spotless for the dnr investigation with that scrub brush he has…

looking closer, that looks like a chick instead of a dude on the bow…
Then thats makes 2 examples of dumb ; bow rider for doing it and Capt for allowing it…

Maybe the trim tabs weren’t working and the GF was just trying to help with the porpoising.
It ain’t no mystery…this beer’s history!
You can compare the pictures and tell how much to boat is bouncing. Oops did I show the boat’s name. The picture of the boat being beached. I feel sorry for the puppy. And I knew somebody would catch the yeti strap for the Coleman cooler. and
Yeti straps on a coleman is fine. Now if you would have put Coleman straps on a Yeti…oh the horror.
