sometimes it's just about this:

found this old pic- i remember catching a few small fish and being bitten by bugs, but mostly that my mood started piss poor and ended great… which is exactly why i splashed her that day.

I too have often found myself in that same position…the more water that passes under the hull the more worries leave the mind…

Good post bw

My wife says my whole demeanor changes when we get on the water. Something about it is just so soothing. I guess because some of my best childhood memories are of me and my Dad and Granddad out fishing. We are truly blessed to live in SC and enjoy the beautiful low country.

DF, I couldn’t agree more. Nothing soothes the soul like time on the water.

Many go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Exactly right. Tuesday night harbor. Shrimp poles set to the left and beer in my right.

Yep, the rivers and oceans are good for your soul.:sunglasses:

Early morning on the Cheechessie.

Late afternoon Euhaw Creek. Is this called a Sun Dog? Looks like a sun devil to me. Weird end to a pretty day. Picture wasn’t altered except to resize.

Even a bridge is relaxing, if you look at it right. Lemon Island.

And a little table food never hurts:smiley:

Yep…
You’re missing the boat if you can’t get on the water… literally, figuratively, and every other way!

No doubt that it doesn’t get much better than where we live…

ahhh how it makes me miss living on the coast!!!
