Managed to get out after work today on a buddy’s dock. Cut mullet on the bottom produced a 17 inch red pretty quickly. Rebaited and hooked into something massive. Caught a glimpse of it during the fight and thought it was a large flounder by how wide it was. Well after a good 10 minute fight of the drag screaming i decided it was not a flounder. i got it close enough to the dock for my buddy to get it in the net and the boga grip to support it. Huge Red! Personal best for inshore at 31" and 13.5 lbs on the Boga. My buddy also managed to catch a 29" red before a storm rolled in and muddied up the water.

I know exactly were on the “wando”…hahahaha I’ve fished that spot before, but from the water. That spot is what I like to look for in other places. I didn’t know it had anything that big there though! Good job.

Oars, we occasionally get these large ones up there but not most of the time. Thank you for not sharing the exact location.
