Sonar MPH has Cut Out, and repair source?

I noticed that my sonar mph indicator is out. I can get the wheel to spin freely - - am I overlooking any quick fixes? I get mph on GPS’s, too, but I like to have everything working. ALSO: where can I get good service on a color Furuno sonar? I think I have damaged the screen by trying to clean it - - now I have some “ghost” gray schools of fish with me always. thanks.

start shopping for a new one, when they get older, they generally stop supporting them or offering service for them, except for some of the commercial units

Is the MPH problem with the Furuno unit? I have a spare wheel for Lowrance if that is your problem.
