I went out aboard a friend’s 26 ft. Glacier Bay, Sonrisa, yesterday. We ended up fishing SW Banks to Georgetown Hole. Caught 3 wahoo in the 15-20lb. range, and lost a really nice yellow fin tuna at boat side due to a straightened hook. The tuna had to be at least 60 lbs. and was probably bigger, hard to judge when in the water though. All in all a great day on the water, hardly any other knockdowns for the day, so it was really slow at times, but it was great to be out on the water again with good company. And really great to see big tuna here in August.
Frayed, How were the sea conditions yesterday??? Looks like the same for the weekend, I am assuming a rolling sea. Thanks
sounds like a good day, and its nice to see all these big tuna here, i heard someone caught 13 the other day, don’t know if its true or not.
