Son's first fish from kayak

Fished the Wando the other evening on a falling tide. Caught this and a gar south of the 41 bridge. Son had a blast and I think he’s hooked now too.

BTW, those Redfish 10’s are great boats for young kids 8+ and stable enough for my 70 year old father in law when he is in town to visit.

He’s definitely hooked now! Congrats to your son…

That’s awesome. I cant wait until my little boy is old enough for that. He can’t wait either. Congrats

If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.

Great, I remember my son’s first fish from a yak. A smile just like that one.

Awesome catch! I am so happy for you and your son. You must be so proud!

I also have an orange red fish 10 and I love it! I’ve stood up on it a few times to throw my cast net and while I have been wobbly, I haven’t fallen in yet. I will most likely pass mine on to my stepson in a few years when he is old enough and swims well enough to get out on the water in a kayak by himself.
