son's first redfish of season

Very late in the year for this report. A common tune: kids stay up late with TV and electronics and can’t get up in early hours. Then there are summer camps and sleepovers, then tides, and my work schedule - so sometimes it’s tough to get it to all line up. Anyways we were planning to go early sunday and that got washed out by rain and thunder. But I managed to get him out on the Wando before the sun set yesterday with the goal of putting him on a redfish. Went to three spots and the sun was about to go down when this guy made our day. Great fight, screaming drag, 2 or 3 good runs, released in good shape.

A little incentive to get up and out next time hopefully. 28"
