Sons personal best trout

I took my son out to our dock this afternoon to have him help me with something. While we were out there he did what he does best. After a couple casts he had his personal best trout. Not sure if this classified as a gator but it was almost 24”. Regardless,
he was super pumped. I am sure all our neighbors heard him screaming as he ran down the dock to share the pic with his mom. Fish was released safe and sound! He was using a trout eye jig head, and a mulletron scented paddlerz along the bank

That’s priceless! We’ll all call it a Gator.

If that would have been me many years ago, I’d have made mom cook it for me.

He will never forget that fish, or where he caught it. Good for him.

Just perfect!! Congrats.

That’s a pretty Wando River trout! Nice work.

“Gator Trout” by any other definition is just a trout. That’s a GATOR. So many congrats to that young man…

Tell that young feller he’s outfishing a lot of the grown men. Love that smile. Good stuff.
