I don’t believe any of those reports. The past several years I have seen plenty of juvenile shrimp in the creeks from July through October but when they get larger, instead of showing up in the big water they just seemed to disappear. I have to wonder if all these years of baiting has changed their behavior.

Could be black gill. However, we have had a small flood in the month of August over the last few years.

I agree, often the early indications don’t pan out. But, I feel good about this year. The warm winter & lots of spring rain washing nutrients into the estuaries are good for the “seed”. Everything works in a cycle. We are due for a good year!

The brownies should be in about mid-May. Trout love them!

I’ve heard good things about the commercial outlook about the white roe shrimp this spring! If we have good roes we will have a good season!
